Excerpt from the Municipal Personal Records Database (BRP)

Do you need proof that you are registered with the Municipality in Veldhoven? You may need this, for example, to register with a housing association, to prove you are a Dutch citizen or to prove you are registered with a municipality. You can request an excerpt from the Municipal Personal Records Database (BRP). It is possible to do this yourself online.

If you request the excerpt from the BRP online, it will be sent to your home address.

Excerpt from the register of births, deaths, marriages and registered partnerships

If you need proof of your birth, marriage or divorce, for example, request an excerpt from the register of births, deaths, marriages and registered partnerships.

An excerpt from the BRP is not required for school

You do not require an excerpt from the Municipal Records Database (BRP) in order to enroll a child in a (new) school. The necessary details can also be found on the child’s identity card or passport, for example. Exceptions include non-Dutch school children who have not been in the Netherlands for a full year on 1 April.
