Excerpt from the Municipal Personal Records Database (BRP)

Do you need proof that you are registered with the Municipality in Veldhoven? You may need this, for example, to register with a housing association, to prove you are a Dutch citizen or to prove you are registered with a municipality. You can request an excerpt from the Municipal Personal Records Database (BRP). You can do this online. Please note that you need a DigiD login to make an online request.

Excerpt from the register of births, deaths, marriages and registered partnerships

If you need proof of your birth, marriage or divorce, for example, request an excerpt from the register of births, deaths, marriages and registered partnerships.

An excerpt from the BRP is not required for school

You do not require an excerpt from the Municipal Records Database (BRP) to register a child at a (new) school. The required information is also on the child’s identity card or passport, for example. Only for non-Dutch school children who have not been in the Netherlands for a full year on 1 April is an exerpt required.
