Veldhoven has its own waste app! You can download the ‘Afvalwijzer’ app on your smartphone and view the waste calendar. Enable notifications in the app and you will automatically receive a reminder to put your waste out on the street.

Print the waste calendar
Would you like to print the waste collection calendar? That is also possible. You can download and print the calendar via 'Mijn Afvalwijzer'. Please note: you may miss changes made during the year. Therefore, check ‘Mijn Afvalwijzer’ regularly for the most up-to-date information.
What belongs in which waste bin?
The municipality of Veldhoven collects household waste separately. On ‘Mijn Afvalwijzer‘ and the Afvalscheidingswijzer you can see what belongs in each waste container.
If we separate our waste properly together, this affects the amount of the waste disposal levy in Veldhoven, because all waste streams are converted into new raw materials. Only residual waste is excluded from this. Residual waste is incinerated. This is more expensive and not good for the environment.
Setting out your waste
Place your waste outside no later than 7:30 a.m. on the collection day. You may place wheelie bins out the evening before after 8:00 p.m., but PMD bags may only be put out on the collection day itself. Did you know you can also enable notifications in the waste app ‘Mijn Afvalwijzer’? This way, you’ll never miss a collection day and you can easily make sure your container is always put out on time.

Call our waste collector Remondis at 088 023 32 00 if your wheelie bin was not collected or if you have questions or complaints.
Error in the waste calendar?
Does the calendar not recognize your zip code? Is the digital waste calendar not working properly or does it contain wrong data? Please notify us via e-mail gemeente@veldhoven.nl or via the shortened telephone number 14 040.
Industrial waste
Postal codes of companies are not included in the digital waste calendar. Companies must take care of their own disposal of industrial waste. You can conclude an agreement with a waste collector for this.
